Wag Hill Lodge has a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. The unique bungalows of Fish Eagle, Malachite, Little Egret and Hammerkop are all positioned to provide magnificent views over Lake Victoria.

Bungalows – Malachite, Little Egret & Hammerkop:

Each bungalow is unique and has a private balcony which provide stunning views over Lake Victoria, particularly the magnificent hues of sunrise or sunset.

The local wood reflects character and warmth; the bedrooms feature a solid timber bed with a mosquito net suspended from bamboo poles and the walls are windows opening up to the African forest outside, lending an air of romance encouraging guests to lie in bed and enjoy the view of the majestic Lake Victoria.

Natural light provides soothing tones and a restful stay and the décor combines natural slate floors and solid wood furnishings. Each bungalow is complete with en-suite facilities.

Cliff Chat: 

Cliff Chat, the main building of Wag Hill Lodge is a source of constant interest.  It incorporates one separate double en-suite bedroom, indoor dining and lounge areas to get away from the heat of the midday sun and offers a full kitchen for self catering.

Cliff Chat's bungalow is located at the rear of the building, on the ground level within relatively close proximity to the entertaining area and is ideal for parents with young children.   

Fish Eagle:

This is a spacious bungalow, providing a panoramic view over Lake Victoria, nestled high in the forest of Wag Hill Lodge. For those with children this accommodation can be fitted with extra beds.
